About Me
I'm an illustrator, designer, creative. I have a passion for doodles and sketching. My world is clouds, mountains, monsters and dreams. Why the name? It comes from a tale of the last people of earth who left in a variety of spaceships, with a view to finding a new planet out there and starting again. The spaceships were different shapes each carrying people and the genetic code of an animal long since extinct, a giraffe was just one of them. So the spaceship / city was called New Giraffe City.

how do you think these things up? Wild. So terribly creative too. I have to ask you, how long does it take you to do these? Also, are these “first pass” doodles?..I mean by that, you just simply draw with then and leave as is, rather than do pencil first then after getting it right, redo it with pen? They are so detailed -the sort of illustrations one could look at for ages and get more from each time. GREAT JOB!!
Thanks again, They take between half an hour to two hours depending on the size and detail. Yep they are ‘first pass’ I like to work this way, I don’t like to over think the page, it’s tricky sometimes and doesn’t always work out. Glad you like them – now I need to find some people to buy prints etc, plus bring in some commissions.
