A short Story for the Illustration Friday theme – ‘Expired’

About Me
I'm an illustrator, designer, creative. I have a passion for doodles and sketching. My world is clouds, mountains, monsters and dreams. Why the name? It comes from a tale of the last people of earth who left in a variety of spaceships, with a view to finding a new planet out there and starting again. The spaceships were different shapes each carrying people and the genetic code of an animal long since extinct, a giraffe was just one of them. So the spaceship / city was called New Giraffe City.

OMG– you are so so so incredibly talented. I LOVE this totally. It’s like a continuation of the “falling” theme you did for Creative Tuesdays. your writing is so compelling and unusual too. WOQ. Almost zen like. I am so impressed–really. I loved reading this story and the pics with it. The whole idea of trees moving and morning and so on. Really captures one’s imagination, giraffe!
All I need now is a few more stories and a publisher!
